Introductory meet-and-greet

I come to your home and we discuss your needs, goals and how we can achieve success together.

Individualized programs

It’s all about you and your pooch. Each program is personally tailored to your needs. A huge benefit is that there are no distracting, unfamiliar or unruly doggies, or anything that would inhibit learning. It’s all about you!

You become the teacher

I give you the knowledge and confidence to train your own dog. You are instrumental in this process, as our time together will be limited. I give you the tools necessary for ongoing training.

From high energy walks to leisurely strolls in the park, I design a play/exercise session that is conducive to your dogs’ likes and needs.

In addition to walks, I arrange play dates at the local park. There your doggies can socialize, romp around, and make new friends. Or if your doggies prefer to get back to nature and stretch their legs with a run at a local forest preserve - awesome - let’s do it! Maybe your dog is part fish and wants to cool off with a swim - great - let’s go! Exercising is an essential part of your dog’s happiness and health; so let me arrange it all.

All dogs need exercise. However, their needs, personalities, and interests vary. I will design a session that fits.

I have always loved animals, especially dogs. Nearly 5 years ago, I picked up my baby Sully, bonded with him immediately, and decided, then and there, that I wanted to be the one to train him.

He is my inspiration, motivation, and truly my best friend. I trained Sully by implementing positive methods and consistently applying them. I was determined to find the best way to train, exercise, and feed him a species-appropriate diet — all of this while making it fun and interactive for both of us. Soon I received many compliments on his behavior and appearance. As a result, I started helping friends and neighbors with their dogs, and the feedback and outcomes were positive. So I said, “Why not a career training dogs?” Shortly after, I went to school, became a certified dog trainer, and now I couldn’t be happier.

I received my Dog Training certification through Animal Behavior College. I am also certified in Pet C.P.R. I interned with The Fox Valley Animal Welfare League, and did an internship with an established dog trainer in Hanover Park, Illinois. I have experience working in a veterinarians office as a Veterinarian Assistant. These experiences have expanded my knowledge and enriched my understanding and love for dogs.
